“ Taco wagon is great. Elote is delicious. Try it both ways. This is a go to place for me. ”
“ La Fondita: A Hidden Gem Behind the Food Truck When you think of food trucks, you probably imagine casual dining on the go. But how many food trucks serve as a gateway to a full-service restaurant? La Fondita does just that. At first glance, it seems like any other food truck, complete with picnic tables for a quick bite. But step past the truck, and you'll find the door to a vibrant dining experience waiting for you. Inside, bursts of red, green, orange, and yellow greet you, with colorful chairs lining the tables and counters. The decor sets the perfect stage for an authentic culinary journey inspired by the flavors of the Mexico City region. This isn't your typical Cabo-style fare of tacos and tourist-friendly fish or chicken dishes. La Fondita offers the real deal. For lunch, I chose the huaraches, a dish packed with rich, layered flavors. Unlike a tortilla, huaraches are made with a thick, oval-shaped flatbread, topped with your choice of meat, crisp lettuce, crumbled cheese, queso corazón, and fresh slices of avocado. I opted for the carnitas huarache, and it was nothing short of delicious--each bite a perfect balance of texture and taste. La Fondita isn't just a meal; it's an experience, one that brings the heart of Mexico City's cuisine right to your plate. ”
“ Went there yesterday four of us From L.A looking for authentic Mex food. We sat inside the restaurant and it was sooo good. From the chips to the food, to the service was great. We ordered Pozole Tacos de asada Huevos divorciados Ham and egg plate Can't wait to go back ”
“ Great taco truck. Quick service even at lunch time. The food was served piping hot. Plenty of seating with warmers for the cooler days. ”
“ My favorite place for tamales and elotes. I love all the fixings they put on them. So delicious! I also love their steak tacos. Staff is attentive and quick. This place gets pretty busy after 6:30pm. They have outside seating along with an attached restaurant if you prefer to dine inside, but I've always liked their food truck vibe more. ”
“ Delicious food! When you sit down you're greeted with Beans with cheese dip and salsa with chips. I love the table salsa but for some reason the salsa on the entrees is super hot so I always order my food without the salsa and add the table salsa after. Carnitas super burritos are excellent and The nachos are so big they can feed 3 people. Service is always great, and on the weekends they do karaoke. The corner is always busy but we are always seated and served quickly. ”
“ This is THE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN COMIDA in Santa Rosa or anywhere also I have tried in Sonoma County, and I love good Mexican food. I'm originally from San leandro. My grandpa was from Mexico. I am picky Recently I was on my way to Costco on a rainy Saturday and I was pretty much one big frown. I stopped here and had some pozole and I was a whole new person. This pozole literally changed my whole outlook. Go get you some! ”
